Top 4 Gyms for Weight-Lifting in Bucharest

Hey guys,

I came to Bucharest, Romania to spend Easter with my family. I wanted to make this trip a fit and healthy one so I decided to check out a few gyms here. I am Romanian by nationality so this was not my first experience trying out gyms here. I have compiled a list of my four favorite gyms in Bucharest. I thought this might also be helpful for any fitness-obsessed person interested in finding a good weight-lifting gym while staying in Bucharest.

The issue with gyms in Bucharest is that they seldomly offer daily passes, they tend to go on monthly memberships. I did find a gym here that does offer daily passes (Sweat concept) and I put this gym on this list for that reason! For those of us who are here on holiday, it tends to make a difference! Regardless, here are four awesome gyms in Romania: from a gym in a luxury country club to a modern fitness boutique, you’ll definitely find the right fit for you!

For this post, I wanted to cover the price, pros, cons, and whether this gym is ‘weight-lifting friendly’ (aka: you can comfortably access the squat rack, weights/barbells and machines). This post is for the gym-addict on holiday or one who has recently settled into Bucharest who wants a place to carry out their routines in a friendly, motivating and fun environment.
