Strength Training Terms and Techniques Explained

Hey guys,

Today I wanted to share with you an educational video that I filmed outlining the terms and techniques commonly found in fitness literature and programs.

In this video, I go over techniques such as time under tension, forced negatives and the rest/pause technique. My hope is that these explanations can help improve your training so that you can reach your full bodybuilding potential.

Also in this video are some definitions to terms such as concentric, eccentric, mechanical tension and hypertrophy. Again, these are picked in order to enhance your knowledge on the subject matter.

Here is a link to the video of my in depth explanation. Additionally, all of this information can be found on pages 7-10 of my Fearless Fitness ebook. I recommend the book as a way to create a base in order to enhance your theoretical knowledge of strength training.

Once you can understand the complexity of training, you can find joy in all progress and improvements made towards enjoying your best and healthiest physique.

My aim is to arm you with the knowledge required to take your training into your own hands.

I hope that you enjoy this post on the strength training terms and techniques explained, please let me know what you thought about it in the comments below!
