After having studied the morning routines of countless successful people, I have found their habits and broken it down into the following meaningful steps that you can emulate in order to have the body and life of your dreams!
Check out this guide if you want to follow the daily routine of a successful fitness model! This guide, however, is for general success and productivity regardless of fitness levels and athleticism.
Here are the 20 morning habits of successful people.
1) They get enough sleep.
Successful people tend to avoid screens, heavy lifting in the evening and set an appropriate alarm clock (getting at least 8 hours of sleep is a priority for them).

2) They wake up at the same time every day.
Waking up at the same time every day is a good way to be consistent with both your morning routine and sleep scheduled thereby ensuring that you’ll have a productive and great day ahead.
3) They avoid the snooze button.
Try mentally counting back until 5 and then force yourself out of bed. The snooze button has been shown to lead to drowsiness throughout the day.
4) They meditate.
They meditate for 5-10 minutes of every day, this can look like breath work, pausing for self reflection or simply just sitting in silence with ones breath.

5) They stretch.
They stretch for 5-10 minute every morning, whether that is through a regular stretching modality, yoga or Pilates.
6) They make a healthy breakfast.
Successful people make sure that they consume a healthy breakfast full of protein and fruits.

7) They train.
They train in the morning, whether that is a weight lifting session, Pilates, running, CrossFit or calisthenics.
8) They take their health supplements and make sure they support a healthy gut.
This can be in the form of a probiotic, healthy juice shot, vitamins or even minerals.

9) They drink a full glass of water.
This tip is especially important if you are a caffeine drinker. Drink water before you consume any food or caffeine and you will ensure that you have a healthier gut micro biome.
10) They prioritize self care.
They do this by putting on a skincare mask or simply reading a book to develop their personal development.
11) They do their skincare routine.
Whether this is a 10 step Korean routine, LED mask or even red light therapy, make sure not to skip this habit!

12) They sit in silence.
Whether you pray, meditate or simply want to listen to your inner voice. Taking a moment to contemplate and sit in stillness is what actor Denzel Washington does to stay on the right path.
13) They recite positive affirmations/visualize/manifest.
Whether you believe in the law of attraction or simply want to visualize your success, doing this in the morning without any distractions is imperative towards your success.
14) They write in their gratitude journal.
List 5 things that you are grateful for in a journal. The more things you can think of to be grateful for, the more will eventually appear!

15) They review their to-do list.
Succesful people write out 3 goals that they want to accomplish that day.
16) They check their emails.
Successful people check their emails in the morning so as to ensure they are on track and can reply promptly.
17) They listen to an informative podcast.
This is an important way to start the day as you are ensuring that you have maximum knowledge retention.
18) They make their beds.

Jordan Peterson is an avid believer in the art of discipline, he believes that making your bed is the foundation towards harnessing more discipline as the day progresses.
19) Perform their most difficult tasks first.
The rest of the day becomes remarkably easier once you can perform the most difficult task first.
20) They ask themselves the following: “If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I’m doing today?”
Apple founder Steve Jobs believes that this self-reflection prompt can truly allow us to step into our highest selves and make the best decisions for ourselves.
