A Fit Girl’s Skincare Haul

Hey guys, today I wanted to share with you my latest skin care haul/daily routine. In the video below, I go over my product application and the order that I apply these products in. I also go over which products I introduced in the video in this post. I go over why I chose to use these products, their benefits/cons and finally, whether I recommend using them or not.

Firstly, do fit and physically active people have different skin needs than their sedentary counterparts? Studies have indicated that exercise has detoxification and anti-aging effects. While the skin does not have any different needs as a result of exercise, training in humid weather does increase one’s likelihood of developing certain types of acne and increases one’s need for hydration.

My current skin-care favorites:

1) Erborian’s Milk & Peel Balm

A few months ago, I tried a Korean skincare brand called Erborian and found that it really improved both my skin’s texture and appearance. I tried both Erborian’s Milk & Peel balm and the Bamboo glow dewy effect cream.

This balm works really well at as a make-up remover and resurfacing product. My skin feels really soft immediately after application!

2) Erborian’s Bamboo Glow

This product works as both a moisturizer and primer. It gives the glass skin look.

The Milk & Peel balm works well as both a make-up remover and gentle cleanser. The finish effect is to-die-for! The Bamboo glow works as a moisturizer and make-up primer. I recommend adding a few dabs on after the make-up to create that dewy glass-skin look!

I got the next few products from Mario Badescu’s skin care line when I was in Bucharest. I really like this brand and enjoyed using the following products:

3) Mario Badescu’s Hyaluronic Eye Cream

Mario Badescu Hyaluronic Eye Cream | Ulta Beauty
I love the feel of this eye cream, it instantly refreshes the undereyes/leaves them feeling super soft.

4) Mario Badescu’s Aloe Moisturizer

Mario Badescu Aloe Moisturizer SPF 15 | Ulta Beauty
This is a really gentle moisturizer with sun protection, it’s great for anyone who wants to use non-irritating skin products.

4) Mario Badescu’s Anti Acne Serum

I have acne scars and this anti-acne serum helped reduce their appearance/redness.

5) Mario Badescu’s Drying Lotion

Mario Badescu’s drying lotion is excellent for actually removing pimples/acne. It’s super powerful!

Out of the Mario Badescu products, my favorite ones have to be the drying lotion and anti-acne serum. For women who do work out and suffer from the occasional gym-induced pimple (caused by hormones or stress), this drying lotion will instantly reduce it.

Because fitness already detoxifies our skin, I think using a combination of gentle products and or/adopting a thorough skin care routine (like the 10-step Korean routine) can really enhance our inner beauty and radiance. Check out my skin care haul video below for more details on these products and how I use them to improve my skin’s aesthetic!

I hope that you enjoyed this post on my skin care favorites, please let me know what you thought about it in the comments below!
