Four Tips To Build Muscle With Minimal Equipment At Home

Today I wanted to share with you my four tips for building muscles from home.

Tip #1: Perform strength training workouts consisting of high sets and high repetitions at least three times per week.

The first tip on my list is to perform strength training workouts three times per week. Make sure that these workouts consist of high-sets and high-repetitions.

You want to keep the sets/reps high at 4 sets for 20-30 repetitions. The high levels of training volume should provide enough stimulus for the muscle to grow without having to use any equipment.

Tip #2: Eat high-protein and well-balanced meals (aim to eat at least 30 grams of protein per meal).

The second tip from this list is eating high-protein and well-balanced meals. Aim to eat least 30 grams of protein per meal. Also make sure that your meals are well-balanced meaning that they consist of healthy carbs, fats and a protein source.

Furthermore, to ensure that you are building muscles while you are at home, you want to remove any junk food or sugar as those will not contribute to a healthy-looking physique.

Tip #3: Take movement breaks every few hours.

The third tip for building muscles at home is to take movement breaks every few hours. These breaks may consist of stretching, mobility work or taking a brisk walk around your neighborhood.

Tip #4: Stay hydrated throughout the day.

The final tip on this list is to stay hydrated throughout the day. I mentioned this in my article about the habits of fit people.

This is an important tip as your muscles do need a certain level of hydration in order to grow to their full potential. Furthermore, staying hydrated will result in your body looking less bloated and more lean.

I set this up as a challenge as it will involve forcing yourself to drink more water until it becomes automatic (try it for at least 30 days!). Once this habit is set into place, it will set the pace for better physique results in the long-term.

In conclusion, the four best tips that I can give to build muscles from home are to firstly engage in high-repetition, high-set workouts.

Secondly, it is to eat high-protein and well-balanced meals (consume at least 30 grams per meal), to move around every hour/few hours and to stay well hydrated.
